Najib’s cabinet said to have done away with past tradition of having one Malay MP from Sarawak as full minister
KUCHING: The Sarawak Malays have joined the growing voices of dissent over Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s cabinet line-up.
A philosophical Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy president Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg however called for understanding, saying even though PBB had expected to be given one full ministerial post to represent the Sarawak Malay community, Najib might have his own reasons to do what he did.”
The Malays (in Sarawak) are not happy (because) we are not represented by a full minister, but then again, it is the prerogative of the prime minister.
Maybe he has a reason (to do so),” he told reporters yesterday.
He said Sarawak Malays felt that they should be given one full ministerial post in the cabinet reshuffle announced last Thursday because they had always had one full minister in the federal cabinet.

Tiga MP nerima SMS ngasuh badu gawa laban siku pan nadai raban sida dipilih enggau Kabinet Najib
KUCHING: Tiga iku Kaban Parlimen Bidayuh Dato James Dawos Mamit, Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe enggau Datuk Richard Riot madah sida iya nerima pesan pandak (SMS) ngasuh badu megai pengawa.
Dawos ke ditemu ba Indu Opis Persatuan Kebangsaan Dayak Bidayuh (DBNA) madah kebuah sida iya dipinta baka nya laban nadai siku enggau ba Kabinet Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak 9 April tu tadi.
Diatu Dr Tiki enggau Riot benung gagau nyidi penatai pesan pandak nya ari konstituensi sida.
“Enggau insiden ke baru tu (nadai siku pan pengari Bidayuh ba kabinet perintah besai), aku deka meri jaku aku laban empai lama tu tadi aku nerima mayuh SMS ngasuh aku badu,” ku iya.
Dawos madah mayuh ari SMS ke diterima datai ari rayat ba konstituensi sida iya ke enda lantang ati laban nadai siku Kaban Parlimen Bidayuh enggau kabinet Najib.
“Ba aku, aku lantang ati laban enda kena pilih (megai pengawa ba kabinet perintah besai) tang aku pan sinu ati laban siku ari sida tu (Dr Tiki tauka Riot) enda ga kena padu,” ku iya.
“Asai ati aku patut bisi pengari Bidayuh ba kabinet perintah besai,” ku iya.

2 tajuk petikan akhbar daripada bumi kenyalang di atas, menggambarkan wakil orang melayu dan wakil orang bidayuh di negeri tersebut mula menyuarakan kitadakpuasan hati masing-masing terhadap percaturan kabinet Tok Jib baharu-baharu ini.
Versi bahasa Inggeris tersebut saya yakin ramai yang memahami kandungannya. Abang Jo melahirkan rasa kecewa kerana tiada wakil melayu Sarawak yang dilantik sebagai menteri penuh, yang ada hanya timbalan menteri, contoh: anak Taib sendiri, Sulaiman Taib. Kali terakhir orang Melayu Sarawak dilantik menjadi Menteri adalah, DS Adenan Satem.
Versi Bahasa Iban di atas pula memberitakan tentang 3 ahli parlimen bidayuh menerima SMS supaya berhenti berkhidmat (Sbg. Ahli Parlimen) kerana tidak tersenarai di dalam sebahagian kabinet Tok Jib. Dato James Dawos Mamit menyatakan sepatutnya ada wakil kaum bidayuh di dalam kabinet tersebut.
Kesimpulan yang boleh saya buat, ramai ahli komponen BN mula meluahkan rasa tidak puas hati. Bermula MCA, seterusnya MIC, sekarang orang Sarawak pula. Adakah sudah terlalu rapuh gabungan yang terdapat di dalam BN sehinggakan masing-masing sudah mula bersuara lantang?
